Introduction: Unity is a Gift to Be Preserved
Unity—it’s a word we hear often, but what does it truly mean to live it out in our daily lives? In Ephesians 4:3, Paul gives us this powerful challenge:
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
Notice the language Paul uses: Unity isn’t something we create. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit, something already present among believers. Our call is to preserve this gift—to live in step with the Spirit and reflect Christ’s love in how we connect, reconcile, and engage with others.
In a time when division feels louder than ever, one of the greatest witnesses we can offer the world is to reclaim this precious gift of unity from the Spirit.
That’s why at Desert Vineyard Church, we’re excited to invite you to Reclaiming Unity, a seven-week Bible study designed to help you embrace and live out the Spirit’s unity in your relationships, community, and the world.

The Spirit’s Unity as Our Witness
The early church in Ephesus faced challenges of division, much like we do today. Yet Paul reminded them that unity is a gift from the Spirit, not something they needed to manufacture. The same Spirit that brought unity to the early church is at work in us today, calling us to live in harmony, grace, and love.
By preserving this gift of unity, we offer the world a powerful testimony of God’s work in and through us. This unity is not about uniformity but about embodying the peace that comes from the Spirit—peace that the world desperately needs.
